AREAS OF PRACTICE: Personal Injury Litigation Criminal Wrongful Dismissal Defamation | | A native of Victoria, Don McKnight graduated from the University of Victoria in 1983 with a Bachelor’s degree in history (with distinction), and in 1985 with a degree in law. After articling in Vancouver, Mr. McKnight returned to Victoria in 1986, where he has practiced law ever since. Mr. McKnight has been active in the community, having served on the Board of Directors for the Victoria Cool Aid Society, as an advisor for the Commonwealth Games Legal Committee, and has acted as a mooting coach and judge at the University of Victoria’s Faculty of Law. He is the past chair of the Civil Litigation Section (Vancouver Island) of the Canadian Bar Association.
